Beth-Anne Bygum is a senior security and technology risk executive at Q2, where she leads the company’s global cybersecurity, product and application security, cyber defense, continuity, IT security, and data protection strategy. As an operator, she approaches cybersecurity as critical infrastructure for resilient operations, customer trust, and sustainable growth.
Beth-Anne is leading Q2’s evolution from traditional vulnerability management toward AI-enabled, performance-based cyber risk reduction. Her organization is advancing toxic-combination and attack-path analysis to understand how weaknesses across code, APIs, identity, cloud, endpoints, and data can be chained into material business impact—an increasingly important capability as frontier-class AI models accelerate both cyber defense and adversary capabilities.
This is her foundation to help redefine operational resilience and continuity for an AI-first environment. Her perspective is that continuity can no longer focus primarily on recovering infrastructure after an outage. As AI agents, APIs, identities, cloud services, software supply chains, and third parties become interconnected, resilience increasingly depends on understanding how disruption propagates across those dependencies, limiting blast radius, maintaining critical services during cyber events, and designing systems capable of operating through compromise and recovering quickly.
With more than 30 years of experience across cybersecurity, technology risk, resilience, and large-scale transformation, Beth-Anne holds an M.S. in Management and Leadership and holds a Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP). She is also a member of the National Technology Security Coalition (NTSC) and a board advisor to Forge Institute.
