Arunava (Arun) Banerjee is the Cyber Risk Consulting Lead for Zurich Resilience Solutions, the risk engineering division of Zurich Insurance. He is responsible of leading the cyber risk consultancy for the UK with the primary focus of empowering clients with robust cyber resilience as well as guiding them through the complexities of the cyber insurance market. He also provides Cyber underwriting assurance for Zurich's Cyber and Technology Professional Indemnity Underwriters for large and intricate cyber risks. Arun is also the chair of Zurich's Global Risk Engineering Technical Centre for Cyber.
Arun has over 17 years of experience in Cyber Strategy, Risk Management, Cyber Advisory, Cyber Insurance, Project Management, and IT Operation within various industries including insurance, health, public sector, and consultancy. He is a Master of Business and Management and has various industry certifications including CISM, ISO27001:2013 Lead Implementer, PRINCE2 Practitioner and ITILv3.
Arun regularly speaks at risk management, insurance and technology conferences and event including AIRMIC, CIPFA, ALARM, SFHA, NCVO, International Security Expo, International Risk and Resilience Conference, e-Crime and Cybersecurity Congress etc.
