Hector Mastrapa is responsible for managing Marriott International’s global Risk Management department. His responsibilities include oversight of the Insurance, Finance, Global Safety & Security, Fire Life Safety, Claims, and Business Resilience departments. The Risk Management function includes programs for Marriott’s portfolio of over 8,900 hotels operating in over 141 countries and territories.

Mr. Mastrapa is active with the Risk and Insurance Management Society, having served as past local chapter president and a frequent speaker at their national convention. Mastrapa holds CPCU and ARM designations and a BBA degree from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
