Juliana Aadland MS, RN, CPHQ has been a Registered Nurse for over a decade and currently serves as the Safety, Quality and Experience Strategist at Allina Health in Minneapolis, MN. She holds BSN and Master of Science in Nursing Administration from South Dakota State University (SDSU). She has experience in inpatient medical-surgical nursing, cardiac and vascular cath lab nursing, and infection prevention program oversight for several skilled nursing homes. Since 2016, she has worked in healthcare safety, quality, and experience, starting as an advisor, and advancing to Director of Accreditation, Infection Prevention, and Quality for a healthcare organizaiton. In her current role, she has partnered to develop and implement high reliability organizing (HRO) culture which includes advancing the cause analysis program, teaching HRO principles and just culture, enhancing safety huddles to prioritize safety and harm transparency, and guiding key tactics to sustain harm reduction. Recently, Juliana provided strategic leadership in utilizing the Riskonnect cause analysis module to help enhance the cause analysis program and analyze trends in safety events and safety culture throughout Allina Health.
