Nickerson began his career at a large regional insurance broker in Chicago. After years of servicing clients across many industries, including higher ed, manufacturing, public entity and fine art, he jumped to the other side of the business. With more than a dozen years in various Risk Management roles, he has seen SP+ more than double in size and expand across North America. With a keen focus on analytics and communication, he leverages data and industry relationships to keep the ever increasing cost of risk in check.
