Bavan Nathan is a governance, risk and assurance executive and advisor with over 25 years’ experience working with listed and private companies in ASPAC, EMEA and North America. Bavan is the Founder of Palum Consulting, a client-centric consultancy, focused on providing fit-for-purpose governance, risk, controls, compliance and assurance solutions to organisations grappling with very complex and evolving risk environments, increasing regulatory burdens and cost of compliance, and uncertainty over how best to leverage technology and data. Prior to this, as the Chief Audit and Risk Officer at Tesco, Bavan led the transformation of the Risk and Internal Audit functions, driving greater digitisation and integration across the 3 Lines of Defence. Before joining Tesco, Bavan was the Partner and a practice-leader in the Risk Consulting business at KPMG and advised clients in different industries including Pharmaceuticals, Energy, Natural Resources, Telecommunications, and Manufacturing.
