Jim Wetekamp is the CEO of Riskonnect. He has more than 20 years of product and leadership experience, most recently serving as CEO of BravoSolution, a Chicago-based cloud procurement solutions company. He joined BravoSolution in 2008 following its acquisition of VerticalNet, his former employer. As that company’s CEO, Jim successfully navigated its sale
to an Accel-KKR portfolio company, following years of rapid growth.

Angie Trygsestad is currently vice president, product management at Riskonnect. She joined Riskonnect as a solution architect in 2012 and has made significant contributions in loss-sensitive allocation design, RMIS implementations, loss-portfolio transfers, and captives. Angie earned her MBA at Southwest Minnesota State University and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of New York College at Potsdam. She also has her ARM designation. When she’s not at work, Angie is very busy with her three boys

Mike Roberts recently joined Riskonnect to manage the Analytics product and custom reporting team.  Mike previously worked in the procurement industry across all aspects of data management, and brings a focus of promoting the use of data visualisation, storytelling, and data innovation to provide increased value out of the data largely captured by Riskonnect solutions.

John Shaw heads the Customer Success team at Riskonnect. He brings more than 20 years of experience helping customers to maximize the value they achieve from their business applications. John has held multiple senior-level positions leading the development of teams in areas such as customer support, change management, customer data analytics, and educational services. John’s focus at Riskonnect is on engineering a customer experience that drives ROI at every stage of a customer’s journey towards Integrated Risk Management. John’s undergraduate degree is in marketing and management information systems from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Mark Holt Mark is the managing director of Riskonnect’s international business, where he leads the company’s growth strategy in EMEA and APAC.

Mark joined Riskonnect in 2015 as the sales director for EMEA. Prior to that, he was the sales & marketing director, EMEA at Ventiv Technology (formerly Aon eSolutions). Before Ventiv, he was the vice president of business development at Marsh ClearSight for continental Europe.

Kumu Kumar is Director of Zurich Risk Engineering UK, a technical team that helps Zurich insurance customers to understand the risks they are exposed to and then mitigate them effectively. Kumu is a Chartered Chemical Engineer who spent a decade in industry before moving into insurance in 2003 and since then, has worked for carriers and in broking. He is passionate about customer service and embraces change by using data and technology to help customers visualise risk.

Rob De Jonge Rob started his career in the insurance broking industry with what ultimately became Marsh & McLennan in the Netherlands in 1992 where he got involved in internal project management and a wide range of client facing activities (a.o. selling technology solutions). After those initial years, Rob’s career was in London and New York working as a programme manager developing insurance related eBusiness activities. After returning to the Netherlands Rob got involved in consulting and advisory which ultimately led to becoming P&L responsible for all consulting and advisory activities across EMEA and a seat on the global consulting and advisory executive committee.

Since joining WTW in 2014, Rob has been involved in designing/building the global Risk & Analytics organization and the execution of a number of strategic global projects, focusing on technology enablement of services and client interaction. Rob is a member of the global Risk & Analytics Leadership team.

In addition to his working career, Rob is an accredited director for financial institutions / insurance companies / pension funds under prudential oversight and acts for these companies as an independent supervisory board member (mostly two-tier boards)

Rob holds an engineering degree in Information Technology (Eindhoven), a master degree in Information Management and Accountancy (Tilburg University), an insurance licensee (NL) and is a certified International Director (Fontainebleau Insead).

Cathy O'Dowd South African mountaineer Cathy O’Dowd is the first woman in the world to climb Mount Everest from both sides. Her many high Himalayan expeditions provided extensive experience with individuals and teams facing stress, risk and overwhelming challenge. She shares these insights with her corporate audiences through story-driven expedition case-studies. She is an internationally acclaimed motivational speaker who has spoken in 45 countries. 

Cathy remains an active adventurer. Covid allowing, in summer of 2021 she will be doing an exploratory sea kayak expedition along the coast of Greenland.
